​Judy Estrin argues against the current approach to AI, which is being controlled by a small number of tech leaders who are striving for absolute idealogical power. She argues that we need checks and balances to ensure that better decisions are made. We need to establish clear guidelines around privacy, security, and ethics. AI has great potential, but it won’t be good if it is all ruined by the idealogical whims of those leading tech companies.

The article above relates closely to the podcast that I released a few days ago with Kevin Shindel. In it, we discuss several of the same ideas, including a moratorium on adopting AI technologies in schools for the reasons cited in Judy’s article above.

Catholic School Mastermind

For the last seven years, I’ve loved running a mastermind with principals from all over the world, and I’ve learned so much from group coaching stellar principals.

One thing I’ve learned is that I personally don’t know how to run a Catholic school. I’ve never done it.

I’m excited to announce that I’m partnering with John Mihalyo to create a mastermind just for Catholic School Principals. This will be focused on the specific needs you have as principals in those unique schools.
